Our story

Made for the pause.

OFFHOURS is a coffee shop in a Bentonville loft: specialized coffee, natural light and a lot of plants. It's built for people who want somewhere to stay a while.

A bright room with big windows, potted palms and fig trees, green armchairs and a few people working at a table.

How it started

Bentonville moves fast.

Between trail rides on Slaughter Pen, the tech campuses and everyone's side hustle, this town is always on the move. OFFHOURS was built for the pause.

We started in 2024 as an espresso pop-up in an old garage: two local friends, one very loud machine, and micro-batches for mountain bikers, artists and people working late. We were obsessed with bright acidity, natural process beans and flavor combos that aren't boring. We still are.

The idea was simple. Serious specialty coffee, without the serious attitude. We buy direct from small, sustainable farms, roast in small batches here in Northwest Arkansas, and make every syrup in-house.

Grab a draft nitro at 7 before the trails, or a Matcha Cloud at 3 while you finish a design project. Stay twenty minutes or three hours. No pretense. No snobbery. Just a good cup and a room that's yours.

Mission and values

What we care about.

Serious coffee, easy energy, and a room that works for everyone in it.

  1. Coffee made properly

Direct-trade beans, roasted weekly in Bentonville. Dialed in every morning, tasted all day.

  2. Nothing from a factory

Every syrup is made here. No artificial junk, no refined sugar, no mystery ingredients.

  3. Plants first

Oat, almond and macadamia milk at no extra charge. Skipping dairy shouldn't cost more.

  4. The room is yours

Laptops, strollers, bikes, long conversations. Stay as long as you want. Nobody will hover.

The team

The people behind the bar.

Say hey. We'll probably remember your order by the third visit.

Timeline

So far.

From a garage door that barely opened to a loft with too many plants.

  1. Spring 2024

    The garage

Saturday pop-ups for riders coming off the trails. One machine, a folding table, a line down the driveway.

  2. Fall 2024

    First roast

A small roaster and our first bags of beans to take home. The Daily Driver was born.

  3. 2025

    The loft

We moved downtown, into a space with real windows. Then we filled it with plants.

  4. 2026

    Late Thursdays

Open until 10 one night a week, for everyone who does their best work after dark.

My go-to spot. The coffee's always good, they remember my order, and I never feel rushed.

Come say hey.

Hey, so glad you're here. The back table is the good one.
